this year, Hari Raya befell on 24 October, after an enriching and enlightening month of fasting. as usual, we donned and paraded around from house to house in our brand new kebayas and baju kurongs with colourfully blinding sampings and selendangs, displaying the latest fashion of the Malay traditional constumes, popping into our mouth yummilicious pineapple tarts and cookies named after a certain young singer who married a Datuk too old for her.
so, The Kambings set out on our annual significant pecah-perut Hari Raya gathering. as usual, there was never the lack of tongue-slipping slurries, caught-on-camera moments, bad driving and goood srcumptious food!
