|Campaign for REAL BEAUTY|

i am blessed with family and friends who are supportive and love me no matter what. growing up as a girl was never easy, and now that i am a lady, it only gets harder. between promiscuisty and sensuality; confidence and well, being a biatch , it is always hard to draw the line. we are often mistaken to be who we are not and expected to be what we hope not to be. women, ladies, girls are vulnerable in this world of musculine dominance in spite of spats of gender rights yada yada yada. face it, men and women can never be equal. but that certainly doesn't make women less capable or respectable. women are often under-regarded (it seems, the more affluent a man is, the more degrading his perception of women becomes) and there is a need for consistent effort and support to put issues concerning women today at centrestage. who will help us if we don't help ourselves?

women are forever concern about physical appearance. as one-dimensional that statement reads, it is the truth. more often today than yesterday, the pressures to look our best and better than others have allowed we women to look into the mirrors and hate how we look. especially with the definition of beauty being distorted by skinny, bonny models with waistline almost close to none, are we losing sight the real meaning of beauty? watch that tv and flip those magazines, and we women let self-loathing get the better of us. worse still, we are seeing this self-destructive treatment amongst young girls. are we breeding a worrying generation of girls with the dillusional, unhealthy and possibly deadly understanding of beauty?

Thanks to DOVE, a truly wonderful enriching campaign called "Campaign for Real Beauty" has deservingly caught the attention of the masses. "Campaign for Real Beauty" calls for a change in the definition of beauty. (YEEAHHH-AH!) Dove's global campaign has shed light on the fact that beauty comes in various shapes, sizes and ages. that beauty is something every women can enjoy and owe everyday.
